• About QUANTA '97:

QUANTA ’97 was a series of competitions, designed to showcase Science and Technology in a format young people understand. Class XI and XII students of various institutions from different countries had an opportunity to work together on a common platform. All competitors benefitted from this living/ learning experience.

Teams from all over the world gathered to celebrate the spirit of QUANTA '97. Teams from Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Indonesia, Italy, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, USA and India were present.

The Chief Guest Mr. N. K. Gaur, Minister of Education, declared QUANTA '97 meet open. Seen below is the traditional lighting of the lamp symbolising wisdom, knowledge and learning.

• 1)To build communication bridges between Educationists, Students and Parents, thereby encouraging co-operation, entrepreneurship, competitiveness, creativity and team work.
• 2)To provide living-learning opportunities that extend beyond the scope of traditional text-books and class-room education.
• 3)To facilitate the education of a work-force to meet the challenging needs of students and institutions striving to maintain a leading edge in an increasingly competitive environment.
