Report of QUANTA '97
All Teams were received
at the Railway station / Airport by the Staff of QUANTA '97, and escorted
to the venue. A warm traditional welcome was accorded to each participant.

QUANTA ’97 was a series of competitions, designed to showcase Science and Technology in a format young people understand. Class XI and XII students of various institutions from different countries had an opportunity to work together on a common platform. All competitors benefitted from this living/ learning experience.

Teams from all over the world gathered to celebrate the spirit of QUANTA '97. Teams from Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Indonesia, Italy, Pakistan, Poland, Russia, USA and India were present.
The Chief Guest Mr. N. K. Gaur, Minister of Education, declared QUANTA '97 meet open. Seen below is the traditional lighting of the lamp symbolising wisdom, knowledge and learning.
